PEDRO GABARRA - Red Acaia Cachaca - Filter Roast
We are so excited to bring you this microlot from Santo Antonio Farm - a 6th generation family run farm who specialise in experimental fermentation techniques and have a huge emphasis on environmental awareness. They are one of the few farms that run a carbon neutral operation, and who are not far from being carbon positive!
This saucy little number has been fermented in Cachaca barrels (sugar cane rum) which brings out a thick syrupy body, with notes of sweet red grapes, port, stewed fruit and cinnamon
We've roasted this coffee lighter than our traditional espresso roast which highlights the subtle fruit and spice notes whilst enhancing the clarity of the cup and as you'd expect there's still the traditional thick body found in Brazilian coffee's of this nature
This one is definitely making a play for our most favoured roast of the season so far - so sweet!
