With fresh faces joining our team and experimentation resulting in some incredible new blends, 2018 has been an exciting year at Ground Control Coffee. We’re thrilled to cap it off by introducing our revitalised brand in time for the holiday season.
When it comes time to think about redeveloping an established brand, the first point of contact for most businesses is an advertising agency — Ground Control Coffee has never been one to take the conventional route. You need only visit our roastery to get a sense of who we are and what we’re all about.
The unique appeal of our kooky little space has always come second to the team of creative individuals that’s occupied it, both past and present. It’s this crew alone that has built Ground Control from the ground up, so when it came time to begin this project, the only consultants we needed came from within. We knew if we were going to move forward, it would have to be an authentic reflection of us as a team, and we’re proud to say we achieved that objective.
Over the past five years we’ve carved out a home and customer base across the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast regions. In a competitive market, our product quality has always spoken for itself, and facilitated our partnership with some incredible businesses. Growing alongside these partners has been one of the most rewarding parts of this experience, allowing us to refine our craft and improve the range of products and services we offer.
We feel it’s the perfect time to create something special — something that is representative of the knowledge we’ve acquired, and personality of our growing team. This project marks an inflection point in our journey, as we look to create a platform for continued growth, while staying true to the values that got us here.
We’ll continue to operate with the same good people at the helm, and will never fall into the occasionally conceited side of this industry. For us, it’s always going to be about producing quality products and having a laugh while doing so. We’ll always be happy to share our knowledge with anyone who wants to listen, and help you find a flavour that’ll keep you coming back for more.
